26 players competed for the Mashie Niblick Trophy on a very windy but sunny day. George Convey scored a very comfortable 33 points but unfortunately was only good enough for a mention. George was squeezed out by Mike Sotiriou who came in 4th place with 34 points and took away the €4.00 shop voucher. Next in 3rd place was Peter Ephgrave with a very creditable score of 35 points taking away the voucher for €6.00. In the runner up slot was Alan Young also on 35 points, beating Peter on countback, and earning himself the €8.00 voucher. However this years winner of the competition was the ever improving Rob Cowin on 36 points.
Well played Rob, fully deserved.
