Chase the Ace of Spades
Object of the game is to pick the Ace of Spades from a deck of 52 cards which are face down & numbered.
Members choose a number, then along with their name & €2, seal this information in an envelope.
Members can choose up to a maximum of 5 numbers (all done separately)
On a given day, which has changed to Wednesday afternoon, all envelopes will be collected, counted and an estimation of prize money announced.
One envelope will be picked at random. That person's card number will be turned over and if it's the Ace of Spades, they win the prize money. If not, a roll over has been created.
This continues every week until the Ace of Spades reveals itself!
Prize money is split as follows:-
45% to Jackpot
45% to Greens fund
5% to each Captain for a Charity of their choice.
Remember people, your €2 may not win this week, or the next, but you can't win it if your not in it!

Round 1 Results
January 6, 2018
Saturday 6th January 2018 saw both Angela Turnpenny & Jamie Evans have their Captains Drive In at Joint Services Golf Club Episkopi.
43 Members turned up for this event and a Cha Cha format was played which was quite enjoyable. After the Prize giving and what with so many people in att
endance, I decided to have a Chase the Ace draw. €139.00 was this week’s total which took the Winnings pot to €980.55.
Gary Brownlee picked the Ticket from the bag and it belonged to the Lady Captain, Ange Turnpenny. Her chosen number was 38; it was turned on the board to reveal the ACE OF SPADES. Well done Ange!!
Not only will Ange receive €980.55 but the club also will receive the same amount. I’m sure this money will be put to good use by the Committee.
As well as this, both Captains nominated their Charities of their choosing and these will both receive €108.95.
